Product Description
Flat link maile is the last development in maile. It was primarily used after the advent of plate armour and was used to protect joint areas like the armpit, inside elbow and back of knee.
For re-enactors it is fantastic! It is lighter than round wire used in earlier forms of maile enabling you to fight longer and harder. As it is pin riveted, it is also substantially more robust than butted maile.
