Product Description

This was THE quintessential helmet of the Hundred years war, the peak of design and the envy of those who we unfortunate enough not to be able to afford it.

Its superior glancing surfaces and narrow eye slots provided state-of-the-art glancing protection from lances and swords. Even today this helmet SCREAMS medieval knight and no-one wearing this fine helmet is left to explain their reasons for owning one of the defining icons of history.

We are very excited about this helm for a number of reasons:

*It will be made from 14 gauge steel, ensuring that even with the most rigorous polishing and hammering it won't be less than 16 gauge.

*Its visor attachment will allow for a barred grill (of no more that a 1 inch or 2.6mm gap) to be attached to the SAME helmet.

*It comes lined in leather with suspension padding and chin strap

This helmet will be arriving in our workshop for final inspection and testing in the middle of July and is expected to be available for ordering by September.
