15th Century Buckles

These are reproductions of a 15th Century Buckle commonly found throughout Europe. Buckles were very important during the Middle Ages as they were a way of showing and carrying wealth.
Displaying wealth was an important part of being noble, opulent displays were encouraged and respected (except by the clergy). If times were tough, you could always cut off a buckle of two and sell it (either from your clothing or someone else’s!)
This buckle is made from 100% Brass and would look excellent on pouches, shoes or armour straps.This is an excellent way to upgrade your armour, and be a little bit fancy!
They are just over 3 cm long and can take a strap of about 1.5cm.
